Privacy Policy

My Fries Book (myfriesbook.com) is run by Osman Cemal Tashan. This page explains what information the site collects and how it’s used.

What we collect

  • When you use the contact form: your name, email address and message. We use them only to read and reply to you. The form opens your email app. Messages are not stored on the website.
  • When you browse: like all websites, the host’s servers may automatically log basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

We don’t run advertising, we don’t use analytics or tracking tools, and we don’t sell or share your information for marketing.

Cookies

The site doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies, and it doesn’t set a login cookie. There is no account to sign in to.

Services we use

  • Hosting. The site is static files. The host keeps ordinary server logs.
  • Fonts are included with the site, so loading a page does not ask Google for a font.

Amazon affiliate links

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Links to the book on Amazon are affiliate links: if you buy through them, Amazon may pay a small commission, at no extra cost to you. When you click through, Amazon may set its own cookies to track the referral.

Links to other sites

We link to Amazon (to buy the book), Instagram, and tashan.net. Once you click through, their privacy policies apply, not ours.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Server logs are kept according to the host’s standard retention.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete any personal information you’ve sent us. Just use the contact page.

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page. This version matches the static site, which replaced the earlier WordPress install.
